Kim Jong-Un orders execution of 30 officials after July floods in North Korea

Kim Jong Un ordered the execution of 30 officials of the North Korean regime after devastating floods hit Chagang province and the Yalu River region. Heavy rains in the region caused deaths between 4,000 and 5,000 people.

According to reports from the media outlet ‘Daily NK’, mMore than 4,000 buildings and 3,000 hectares of farmland were submerged under water. Kim Jong-Un has rejected international aid and ordered the 15,000 affected people to be transferred to Pyongyang to recover.

South Korean channel ‘TV Chosun’ assured that those responsible were accused of corruption and negligence in management of the crisis, being executed en masse by the regime seek exemplary punishment.
