The social network Instagram has added the ability to comment on temporary posts in the story section.

Previously, if a user replied to a story, Instagram would send it as a private message visible only to the person sharing the content.
According to the report, after the update, anyone can post a public comment on the “story,” but this will only be available to those who follow the author of the post and to people the author is subscribed to.
Like ‘stories’, comments are temporary and will last up to 24 hours. Users will have the option to enable or disable comments for any ‘story’ they share.
It is unclear whether comments will be archived after a story post expires.
