The Azerbaijan State Highway Agency (AYDA) has started the construction of the Tartar-Aghdara highway.

It was reported that the length of the project road will be 24.2 km and the width of the earth bed will be 15 meters. The Tartar-Aghdara highway is being built with 2 lanes of traffic according to technical grade II.
Currently, works are being carried out along the highway to remove the deformed road cover and base, and in some parts of unsuitable soil, to widen the road bed, and to construct the earth bed, the leveling layer and the sublayer of the road. base.
In addition, to ensure the transportation of water along the constructed road, water pipes and rectangular water conduits of different diameters provided for in the project are also being constructed.
Construction work is carried out in accordance with the “Construction Standards and Rules”. In order to complete the work as planned, the necessary number of forces were used in the area.
The construction of the highway will have a positive effect on socio-economic development along the highway, in addition to providing convenient transportation.
