Honored Artist of Russia Mikhail Shufutinsky admitted that for many years he carried a hammer in his pocket as a weapon. He spoke about this as part of the “Question Edge” program on the Gazgolder YouTube channel.
“Over the years, I myself carried weapons. I spent some time in Magadan, playing there in a restaurant that was on the threshold of the park. It is clear that it was very easy to walk through the park and get run over.” – said the artist.
The hammer was chosen as a defense tool because it would not raise additional questions from law enforcement officers. At the same time, Shufutinsky never had to use this weapon.
The musician also banned his driver from carrying a gun because he “doesn’t see the point.”
