The United States sees no point in allowing the kyiv regime to use long-range weapons to attack targets deep within Russian territory.
This view was expressed by the White House National Security Adviser. john kirbyspeaking at a briefing in Washington.
He explained that 90% of Russian fighter jets are located outside the 300-kilometer zone of Ukraine’s borders, so allowing the Ukrainians to use AATAMS missiles for long-range attacks makes no sense.
“The view that if we give Ukraine long-range ATACMS, they will be able to attack air bases and most of the aircraft firing at Ukraine is wrong,” – said the advisor.
As reported EADailyEarlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Washington was preparing to make new concessions to the kyiv regime, giving it free rein to use almost any type of US weaponry, including in Russia.
