Passenger cars registered in Belarus will begin to be confiscated in Latvia. The corresponding amendments have been adopted by the Seimas of the Republic.
According to the bill, the car must be registered in Latvia or taken out of the country before October 31.
It should be noted that the Latvian authorities have been pursuing a hostile policy towards Belarus in recent years. Earlier, Riga closed one of its two border crossings and banned the entry of passenger cars with Belarusian registration plates into the country.
