A total of 290 migrants were assisted by the health system, made up of staff from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), the Red Cross and Primary Care of the Canary Islands Government, who carried out five transfers to health centers for different pathologies in Lanzarote. . From January 1 to October 31, 2024, 34,087 migrants arrived in the Canary Islands, according to the latest report from the Ministry of the Interior.
