The bodies of the two fatal victims – National Police Officer Alberto, 44, and his partner Juan Carlos, 41 – in the accident that occurred last Sunday on the A-6 were exchanged at the funeral home. Sandra, Juan Carlos’ older sister, realized this last Monday, before the cremation at the funeral home. This is what she said yesterday on Antena 3’s program “And now Sonsoles”: “When we arrived at the funeral home, my husband entered the room first and said that it was not Juan Carlos. When I saw him, I realized that it was not my brother, it was not his face, his eyes, his eyelashes, nothing, it was not him.

They immediately notified the funeral home. Apparently, his brother’s body was still in the forensic anatomy center: “They tell us that my brother is not there, that he was perhaps in Valdemorillo, where they took the kamikaze boy, who, by chance, also died.” Carlos. And there they confirm that the body belonged to the boy and that the only place left was Ávila. “I didn’t find out until nine at night.”

After discovering the mistake, Juan Carlos’ family contacted Alberto’s family, who at that time were guarding the wrong body in Ávila. Alberto’s family, after being informed of what was happening, opened the coffin and realized that it was indeed not him. The relatives notified the Civil Guard and the Majadahonda Court.

Civil Guard Hypothesis

The accident, which claimed the lives of national police officer Alberto, 44, and his partner Juan Carlos, 41, happened early last Sunday. They were both on their way to work. The accident was caused by a driver driving the wrong way, who also died in the accident.

One of the hypotheses considered by the Civil Guard of Traffic, in charge of the report, is that the alleged murderer wanted to commit suicide and cause the death of his wife, during an argument between the two of them while driving, the sources of the investigation explained to ABC.
