Kyrgyzstan removes the Taliban from the list of terrorist organizations

The Taliban have been removed from the list of banned terrorist organisations in Kyrgyzstan.

Oku.Az According to foreign media, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan has published a list of religious-political organizations whose activities are banned in the country, and the name of the Taliban movement is not mentioned in it.

Azamat Yusupov, deputy head of the Kyrgyz State Commission for Work with Religious Organizations, told reporters that due to political changes in Afghanistan, the Taliban may be removed from the list.

“For more detailed information, please contact the judicial authorities and the Attorney General’s Office, which published the list,” he said.
