The dramatic incident occurred on a flight from London to Kos, Greece, when a drunk passenger tried to open the cabin door and attacked the crew.
Flight EZY8235, operated by EasyJet, was forced to make an emergency landing in Munich. According to passengers, the problem began when the plane encountered turbulence, causing the man to become agitated. He then began swearing at the pilot and tried to reach the cockpit.
During the scuffle, the passenger broke the plane’s intercom and got into a fight with flight attendants. One passenger commented: “The crew were great and very brave, but all this drama was unnecessary.” After the crew subdued the man, the pilot decided to land in Munich, where the violent passenger was handcuffed and taken for questioning.
