It is reported that in some markets on Nizami Street in Baku, citizens are not receiving VAT receipts.
Baku TV employees tried to clarify the issue by purchasing products at the mentioned markets.
It turned out that when the quantity of products purchased in the markets is small, cashiers do not present a receipt to the customer unless requested.
“We do not issue checks when there are many customers or because the amount is small,” market employees said in their statements.
Even an employee at one of the markets did not hesitate to offer bribes to journalists.
