The Ministry of Transport is carrying out the project work for the screen installation to mitigate the noise generated by traffic on the Marbella variant of the Costa del Sol motorway (AP-7). To do this, it is investing 13.1 million euros in these works, but this will pose problems.
For the construction of acoustic screens, and in order to guarantee the safety of workers and users, the following effects will occur on traffic from Monday to Friday. September 9 and October 4:
– Court ofright corner on the road towards Malaga (downhill mileage) between km 1,049.660 and 1,048.960 of the AP-7, leaving the lanes free for traffic.
– Right shoulder cut exit junction towards Malaga (downhill mileage) between PP.KK. 1044+100 and 1044+400 (AP-7) leaving the roads free for traffic.
Traffic restrictions will apply from Monday to Thursday, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.. On Fridays, they will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. On weekends, traffic will be restored.
