The RTVE board of directors approved at its meeting this Thursday the production of the celebrity version of the talent design Masters of sewingin collaboration with Shine Iberia, as well as the The groundin collaboration with Satisfaction Iberia, and which Antena 3 created last year with Manel Fuentes as presenter.
In this new Couture Masters This will be the first time that celebrities will compete in this format of La 1 which supports the fashion and textile industry. The program will maintain the classic structure of its six anonymous editions: two tests scheduled plus one for teams abroad.
The talent, in which actors, singers, models or presenters will participate, will also have as judges in this version Palomo Spain, María Escoté and Lorenzo Caprile and there will always be a fourth guest judge. The judges will also conduct a sewing test, there will be a section with judges in the haberdashery and another in which they will give advice to the participants. For now, RTVE has not confirmed Raquel Sánchez-Silva as presenter.
The entire process of making the pieces will be explained with graphics and clothing recycling and sustainability will be encouraged. All selected celebrities will have sewing skills and will undergo preparation before the recordings. The viewer will be surprised each week by the progression of a casting that will test its abilities in the difficult art of design and sewing.
It is worth noting that in the various editions of the Masters of Couture, many celebrities have visited the workshop. And some have even had the honor of helping the participants make their clothes, and it would not be surprising if some of them become candidates, such as Óscar Higares, José Corbacho, Mónica Cruz, Pelayo Díaz, Juana Acosta or Lolita.
