“Employees of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Directorate of the Siberian Line of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia detained in Moscow and took to Krasnoyarsk the head of one of the construction companies in the region, accused of embezzling 700 million rubles. “ – the message said.
According to police, the director of a construction company stole part of the funds intended for the construction of railway infrastructure in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. At the same time, he acted in the interests of several commercial organizations.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (misappropriation or embezzlement of funds committed by an organized group, as well as on an especially large scale). The accused has been taken into custody.
