Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, said the United States has no intention of harming Iran but strongly opposes the country having nuclear weapons. The issue of Iran’s nuclear program came to light during his visit to a polling station in Florida, where he voted with his wife, Melania Trump.
This was reported by The Times Of Israel.
During a conversation with reporters, Trump signaled that he was willing to admit defeat if the elections were held fairly. He stressed that he considers the current voting process fair and believes in the transparency of the upcoming results. Despite this, Trump expressed confidence in his victory, noting that the current campaign, in his opinion, was the best of his political career and that the final result will likely not cause controversy.
Asked about the reaction of his followers to a possible defeat, Trump assured that they would not resort to violence, emphasizing that his voters are not prone to aggressive actions.
Meanwhile, his Democratic rival Kamala Harris, speaking on radio in Atlanta, called on Americans to actively participate in the elections, especially in key states. He said high voter turnout could be crucial to his victory.
