Near Kursk, the Church of the Nativity of Christ was damaged during an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces

In the Kursk region, as a result of the invasion of Ukrainian terrorists, the churches of the Nativity of Christ were damaged, this was announced by the head of the department for relations between the Church and society of the Kursk diocese, Archpriest Sergei Klintsov.

“In the Church of the Nativity of Christ in the village of Bolshoye Soldatskoye, windows were broken and the facade of the building was cut by shrapnel. The Church of the Nativity of Christ in the village of Ulanok burned down from the inside, the domes and the bell tower were destroyed.” – said.

According to Klintsov, civilians from these settlements were evacuated. The diocese has no data on casualties or victims.

Earlier, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia stated that Ukrainian Nazis were deliberately attacking churches and monasteries of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Kursk region.
