The second tallest skyscraper in the world will be built in Dubai.
This would eclipse the current record holder, the Burj Khalifa located there, but surpass the 679m Merdeka 118 tower in Kuala Lumpur.
Oku.Az The developer company “Azizi Developments” reportedly informed about this on the social network “X” (formerly “Twitter”).
The tower will be called Burj Azizi and will be 725 meters high. The building will be built on Sheikh Zayed Avenue. The project will cost 1.63 billion dollars and construction is expected to be completed in 2027.
The tower’s design features rectangular shapes and gradually narrows. The building’s façade will be completely covered in glass.
Burj Azizi will feature a shopping mall, luxury residences and penthouses, a seven-star hotel and a unique observation deck. Part of the building will also house catering facilities and other service establishments.
It is worth noting that the height of the 163-storey Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest building in the world, is 828 meters. It was built in 2004-2010.
