A 5.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded in central Peru.
Oku.Az TASS reports that the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center has published information in this regard.
It should be noted that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 18 kilometers southwest of the city of Huancavelica, where around 41,500 people live. The focus of the earthquake was 10 km deep.
There are no reports of casualties or damage.
