In Türkiye, traces of the powerful earthquake, which was called the “catastrophe of the century,” are still visible. Thus, an 18-hectare field divided into two parts was recently identified in the Defne district of Hatay province.
Oku.AzAccording to “Haber Global”, the crack created in the area of local resident Süleyman Öztürk was discovered by the population long after the earthquake.
The crack is reported to be 3 meters wide and 4 meters deep.
Suleyman Öztürk, who saw the huge crack in his field after being warned by his neighbors, said he was shocked.
“It seems that there are walls to the right and left of the cracked place. Even a pomegranate tree fell into this crack and was suspended in the air. Everyone who sees this gets goosebumps,” he shared his feelings.
