Over the past decade, the Democratic Party was obsessed with the attempt to overthrow Donald Trump to such an extent that to ignore his principles. The former candidate from the Democratic Presidential Party Kamal Harris could not formulate a consistent election program, which is followed by internal conflicts and chaos in the party.
“We, like a solar system without sun. We do not work as one team, and when we do not work as one team, we deliver our weapons to each other, and this is in vain, and with the desire of the party to the future, I am interested in which direction he plans, and any “team” will win.
Some democrats – like Sluttin – encouraged the party to accept a message that attracts a wider segment of the Americans. Even the Governor of California, Javin News, with the extreme trend of the left, tried moderation, at least in some cases. Senator John Vitman, a member of the Senate of Pennsylvania, without hesitation criticizes controversial progression in his party.
But there is another more alarming trend that seems to be democrats who turn to it, that is, socialism and anti -Semitism, which should raise anxiety, not applause. In June, the democrats in New York supported the power of the 33 -year -old socialist candidate of the socialist socialist Zabrin Mamdani, as his main candidate for the municipal presidential election this fall. While they rejected the most “traditional” candidate for a democrat, former governor of New York, Andrew Como, candidate for the ballot.
It seems that the most important that can be removed from the victory of Mamdani in the largest city in the country is that the party should take into account, and, possibly, to accept some visions, which was evaluated by the New York liberal.
Nevertheless, this vision increases anxiety – or should be raised – for everyone who believes in capitalism and real democracy. Mamdani claims that he wants to make the city “suitable”, but his proposals will lead to the opposite. It is a much stronger government that controls the life of the inhabitants of New York. Mamdani announced on the X channel that he was “running for the mayor of the city to freeze the rent, make buses quickly and free, and also provide comprehensive and free children’s care.” These goals carry many meanings, despite their clarity.
In the editorial article, before the introductory elections, New York Times warned the left direction of voting for the mandani: “This is a democratic socialist who often ignores the inevitable concessions in the government. This is preferable to freeze the rent, which can reduce the supply of housing and it is difficult for New York youth and new participants buying housing sales.
Mamdani also said that he wanted to “transform the tax burden of owners of houses burdened in external areas in the most expensive houses in richer areas and white skin.”
In addition, Mamdani does not believe that we must have billionaires, and he is a muslim who has a documented story that confronts Israel and protect the use of the anti -Semitic language, including phrases such as “globalization of the uprising”. With the growth of violence against Jews in America, this is a matter.
It is likely that the colleagues of politicians supporting the expansion of the government, including deputy Alexandria Okasio Cortes (democracy for New York) and Senator Bernie Sanders (independent of Fairmont), are very happy to accept their socialist vision on a wider scale.
But is this confidence that the Democrats want to follow?
The Americans are already concerned about the future of their democracy. The country will celebrate the 249th anniversary of its founding on Friday, July 4. The new opinion survey conducted by NPR/PBS News/Marist showed that 76% of participants believe that democracy is at risk.
Most democrats call Trump the cause of their fears. However, if progressive people take control of the future of the party, their agenda will be the largest threat to the country.
Thus, socialism, even those that seem more acceptable, such as democratic socialism, destabilize free markets and dissuade individual initiative, which is a strong side, that America has made the economic power that it is today, which is the essence of the success of our republic. Snitur Sluttin is right: the democrats need the “sun”, which is the axis of their party, and they must carefully choose it.
