Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has received a Chinese delegation headed by Chen Min’er, a member of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and secretary of the Tianjin city party committee, the press service of the Uzbek leader reported.
The parties discussed issues of further deepening multifaceted cooperation and practical interaction between Uzbekistan and China in accordance with agreements at the highest level, primarily within the framework of active interregional dialogue.
“Special attention is paid to promoting cooperation projects with leading enterprises in Tianjin in the fields of trade, industry, green energy, infrastructure construction and modernization, agriculture, textiles, pharmaceuticals and other industries.” – the information says.
During the negotiations, the importance of expanding innovative, educational and cultural exchange programmes was highlighted.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to adopt a roadmap for mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and China’s Tianjin.
