How are the works at Camp Nou going?

When is the work completed?

In a first study, FC Barcelona’s idea was that the new Camp Nou would be completely ready by November 2024, which is currently unthinkable. For this reason, Joan Laporta, together with the rest of the board, added that the deadline would be extended, at least, until the beginning of 2025, leaving behind the idea of ​​celebrating the 125th anniversary of the club in its new ‘ House’.

As we indicated above, some of the most important aspects of the reform, such as permits or internal wiring, among others, meant that the reopening did not take place, a priori, until the month of april. Barça, however, is not giving up on shortening the deadlines and the Turkish company responsible for carrying out the reform, Limak, has hired up to a total of 50 additional workers to be able to meet the deadlines set. Who pays for the Camp Nou works and how much do they cost?

According to the official figures that FC Barcelona presented to its partners, the renovation of Camp Nou will cost 1,450 million euroswhich will cover, in addition to the entire stadium, all the Barça facilities installed in the Les Corts area (Mini Estadi) and in the Palau, where FC Barcelona plays its basketball competitions.
