An accidental fire in Cañada Real resulted in the dismantling of an indoor marijuana plantation. National Police officers, in collaboration with the Madrid Municipal Police, managed to combat drug trafficking in the San Blas-Vicálvaro neighborhood, detecting numerous plants of this substance.
Specifically, the events occurred on August 16, after being put into service in a building located in Cañada Real Galiana, where a fire broke out, so the emergency services responded to this situation.
Planting inside the house
Once the fire was extinguished and the adjacent buildings belonging to the same house were inspected from the outside, they realized the existence of a marijuana plantation inside the property, as well as various utensils for its cultivation.
Due to these facts, the corresponding entry and search order was requested and, once executed, approximately 500 marijuana plants, numerous air conditioners, lamps, extractors and cables were seized. In addition, in one of the rooms, a BB gun and 56 cartridges of two different calibers were found.
