“We will not accept bilaterality. We will act with responsibility and institutional respect. We will talk, dialogue with everyone and of course with the President of the Government, but we will talk about equality among Spaniards. We will not enter into any auctions or to launder transfers to the independence movement “to stay in power,” explained the Andalusian president, Juanma Moreno, after participating in the summit of regional presidents convened by the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo.
Juanma Moreno reiterated his rejection of the pact for a new financing model for Catalonia that could mean “the exit of the common regime” of all the autonomies, and asks them to convene a Conference of Presidents to review a financing system that dates back to 2009 and which, according to the president of the PP, “poses serious problems of sufficiency and equity between the autonomous communities.”
“The president has caused a serious problem with his umpteenth concession to the independence movement. Catalonia is leaving the common regime. Sánchez aspires to a Spanish Confederates“in which the privileges of the rich regions are above the needs of the rest,” summed up the Andalusian president, who warned that “it is unacceptable to break the principles of equality and solidarity.”
The Andalusian president shared all the axes of the speech and the agreement led by Alberto Nuñez Feijoo and the barons of the PP (which governs practically all the communities), although he highlighted one of the problems: the creation of a Temporary Leveling Fund that has been provisionally incorporated among the demands of the PP and that all its communities resolve the underfinancing of the autonomous communities. communities. This proposal, promoted from Andalusia, affects the Andalusian community, Castilla La Mancha, Murcia and Valencia.
In his speech, Feijóo also referred to this proposal, which so far has not been implemented due, among other reasons, according to the Treasury, the lack of consensus among the autonomous communities for this fund to be created only to compensate four of the regions.
