The far right takes legal action against the president of the government, Pedro Sánchez. The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, announced that his party would present a qCriminal prosecution against Sánchez and other members of his cabinet “for crimes of reckless homicide and neglect of duty relief after DANA“.
Abascal made this announcement in a public statement without the presence of the media, after a working meeting of his party leadership on the consequences of the floods.

“The scale of the tragedy, from a human and material point of view, has worsened because of Sánchez’s management,” said the president of Vox. “Everything has been nothing but a nauseating political calculation to conceal the greatest tragedy of recent decades and hide the criminal responsibility of administrations and politicians,” he added, before emphasizing that “Until yesterday”, the number of victims and missing persons was not even known because the government was “hiding” them.
