Vox sues Sánchez for reckless homicide and omission of duty to assist DANA

The far right takes legal action against the president of the government, Pedro Sánchez. The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, announced that his party would present a qCriminal prosecution against Sánchez and other members of his cabinet “for crimes of reckless homicide and neglect of duty relief after DANA“.

Abascal made this announcement in a public statement without the presence of the media, after a working meeting of his party leadership on the consequences of the floods.

As he said, declaring a national emergency “was not an option, it was an inexcusable and inevitable duty and, consciously, they did not do it.” “NOW they will have to pay for that“, he warned.

Abascal looked at the criticisms that Vox has made in recent days towards the management of the government, to which assumes full responsibility for the serious consequences that the storm had on the Valencian Community. Vox accuses him of suspending the work of the army, rejecting the aid offered by the international community and “criminalizing” the volunteers who went to the region to collaborate, and all this under the cover of a “State autonomous bankrupt”.

“The scale of the tragedy, from a human and material point of view, has worsened because of Sánchez’s management,” said the president of Vox. “Everything has been nothing but a nauseating political calculation to conceal the greatest tragedy of recent decades and hide the criminal responsibility of administrations and politicians,” he added, before emphasizing that “Until yesterday”, the number of victims and missing persons was not even known because the government was “hiding” them.

Abascal attacked Sánchez, whom he criticized for the fact that, these days, his “priorities” have been “to attack RTVE, to increase taxes and to be photographed in the middle of the popular anger”, while “the Spaniards were abandoned, drowned”. and live among corpses and looting.
