The leading Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita has stopped publishing weekly columns by famous publicist Łukasz Warzecha.
The cooperation that lasted four years was interrupted, as the new editor-in-chief of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth explained. According to Warzeha, the reason for the termination of cooperation is his position on issues such as Poland’s place in the European Union, Polish-Ukrainian relations and the cost of the “green deal”. The columnist accuses the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of abandoning the tradition of a balanced exchange of opinions between commentators of different points of view.
