An Indian airline, Air Vistara, with 247 passengers on board, made an emergency landing in Erzurum, eastern Turkey, following reports of a bomb.

The plane was reportedly flying from Mumbai to Munich.
“During the flight of an Indian airline, there was a bomb threat on board. It made an emergency landing in Erzurum. The plane is now in a safe zone. The reception and departure of planes from the airport has been temporarily suspended. Our bomb disposal experts are conducting an inspection and if the threat is not confirmed, the plane will continue to fly,” said Erzurum Governor Mustafa Ciftchi.
