16 judges: half of the Federal Constitutional Court (Bverfg) are elected in the Bundestag and the Federal Council. Two -third requirements are required. By accident, three Bverfg posts in Bundestag should now be filled. CDU/CSU has the right to offer a message for two SPD posts.
CDU/CSU is offered by Gunter Spinner, a presiding judge in the Federal Labor Court. SPD offers two legal professors of Brozius-Hersdorf and Ann-Katrina Kaufhold.
