Elisa Mouilaá’s defense is preparing the complaint of several women against Íñigo Errejón. If until now only the actress and communicator had filed a formal complaint against the politician, there are now several women who, under the coordination of a lawyer, are ready to go to court, as announced Article14 and confirmed it elDiario.

For now, Mouilaá’s statement, scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed until next week: it will be Tuesday, November 12, the same day Errejón will testify as an investigator for sexual assault, although at times different. The women who would participate in the process live in different cities, so each complaint would be brought before different courts.

Actress and broadcaster Elisa Mouliaá reported Errejón to the police for a sexual assault committed in September 2021, after meeting at a party. In the complaint, the actress reported that Sumar’s former Congress spokesperson closed the door to the room they were in, took out his penis in front of her and touched her without her consent.

Mouliaá went to the police when he learned that Íñigo Errejón had resigned from all his political functions, including his mandate as a deputy, after the publication of a woman’s testimony on the Instagram profile of journalist Cristina Fallaras. This testimony highlighted that he was the author of sexist attitudes and attacks towards several women. As Sumar and Más Madrid report, Errejón himself admitted to at least part of these accusations. He later publicly announced his resignation.

Mouliaá first made his case public on the social network. The magistrate’s first step was to ask Congress to certify that Errejón was no longer a deputy and that, therefore, he should not be the subject of a Supreme Court investigation. From now on, the first to appear will be Mouliaá herself to ratify and explain her complaint of sexual assault against the former politician.
