The new French Prime Minister, Michel Barniersaid this Friday that he wanted to control the migratory flows and warned of the “extremely serious” situation in the budget deficit.
In his first interview after taking office on Thursday, the conservative Barnier also indicated that he wanted to open a debate on “improving” last year’s controversial pension reform, but always “within the budgetary framework”.
The new head of the French government assured the TF1 channel that he wanted to include in his future executive members of his political family (conservatives), but also of Macronism and “people of the left”.
