In the past 24 hours, specialists have destroyed 12 explosive devices in the Kursk region, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on September 6.
“Over the past 24 hours, pyrotechnic units of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations have been involved in clearing territories in three districts of the region. 12 explosive objects have been discovered and neutralized.” – the message said.
Since the situation in the Kursk region became more serious, the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ sappers have destroyed 326 explosive objects. In addition, the ministry added that it continues to monitor the environmental situation in the region.
“Background radiation is normal, no excessive concentrations of hazardous chemicals have been detected,” – the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
