The 32-year-old singer made her fortune through her cosmetics brand, Rare Beauty Brands Inc. As reported by Bloomberg, Gomes achieved billionaire status thanks to her business and her hundreds of millions of followers on social media.
In April this year, Gomez’s friend, singer Taylor Swift, was added to the billionaires list. The 34-year-old star is worth $1.1 billion, including earnings from the Eras Tour, the value of her songs and real estate.
