Show “How Andalusian Horses Dance”, at the Navarra Arena in Pamplona: tickets and dates

Never before had we seen similar spectacle in Navarre. On Saturday, September 21, the equestrian ballet “How Andalusian horses dance”hand in hand with the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. It will be, neither more nor less than in the Navarre Arenawho – true to his name – will install a 1600 square meter sand track in which 26 horses and 10 riders will perform in 6 choreographies to the rhythm of traditional music and with 18th century costumes.

A 1600 m2 track will be installed, in which there will be a total of 400 tons of sand and will be divided into two parts: a central space of 60 x 20 meters, where the equestrian ballet will take place, and a second space of 20 x 20 meters for warming up. In addition, a preparation area will be set up in the facilities for the horses before going out into the main riding arena with a rubber-covered floor to avoid damaging the horses’ hooves.

The sand that will cover the track was obtained in the quarry located in the Sierra de Alaiz. This is a so-called “dead” silica sand suitable for use by horses in equestrian arenas. This type of material was created specifically for this event in a process that lasted two months and is the result of a special gravel screening natural of the career.

The 26 purebred Spanish horses that will take part in the show will travel from School of Jerez de la Frontera with 10 riders, and will be transported by their own trucks to the Hipica Zahorí located in Falceswhere they will stay in the days leading up to the event.
