On Sunday, a Civil Guard boat prevented the arrival in Melilla of a boat carrying four migrants by passing over it, according to a recording posted on social media. Everything happened on the coast of the autonomous city and more specifically in front of Horcas Coloradas beach.
Sources from the Ministry of the Interior consulted by elDiario.es explained that, according to the Civil Guard itself, despite the event, the four migrants remained unharmed and were “returned to Morocco” that same Sunday. The four young people had left the neighboring country with the aim of reaching the coasts of Melilla, although they ultimately did not succeed.
In the video posted on social media, it can be seen how the Civil Guard boat chases, intercepts and passes over a motorboat to prevent the four migrants on board from entering the Spanish coast.
Last Saturday, 11 other migrants were intercepted after arriving in the city of Melilla, although they had already embarked on Spanish soil.
