A fire broke out at a facility with a total area of 600 square meters and consisting of about 10 car repair shops operating on Zarifa Aliyeva Street in the city of Sheki.
According to Bizim.Media, after the witnesses’ statements and the initial investigation of the fire site, it became clear that Rafig Hasanov, a resident of the region, handed his car over to one of the workshop’s craftsmen for repairs.
While carrying out repairs, the master ordered his assistant to take gasoline from the car’s fuel tank. The incident occurred at this time. From the moment of the fire, workers from other nearby workshops began to take measures. In addition, technical personnel and staff of the State Fire Protection Unit of the Sheki district were involved on the scene. Thanks to the efforts of firefighters, the fire was prevented from spreading to adjacent shops. However, the structures of the repaired car were burned. There were no victims of smoke suffocation or injuries during the incident. The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
