After leaving the International Space Station (ISS), Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft successfully landed and returned to Earth without a crew. The broadcast was made on the website of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

According to the information, the landing took place at 00:01 EST (08:01 Baku time). After entering the atmosphere, the device released three parachutes and landed at the White Sands test site in New Mexico.
The spacecraft’s journey from the ISS to Earth took about six hours.
It should be noted that the Starliner ship was launched by Boeing on June 5. Astronauts Bootham Wilmore and Sunita Williams were on board the ship. Initially, they were planned to remain in orbit until June 18. Later, the ship’s return date was postponed to June 26, and then indefinitely due to engine failure. As a result, NASA has decided that astronauts will return to Earth in February 2025 as part of SpaceX’s Crew-9 mission.
