A drone and body camera captured the moment police officers rescue a three-year-old boy who had disappeared into a cornfield in Wisconsin last Sunday. In fact, it was this device that helped locate him.
The boy’s parents said their son’s whereabouts had been unknown since 7:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon because they suspected he had gotten into the crop behind their Marshview Road home. Officers approached the scene and after searching the residence, as well as nearby barns, used drones with thermal capabilities to begin the search for the little one in the cornfield.
It was thanks to this technology that the agents were able to quickly locate the child about 800 meters from his home. Fortunately the little did not suffer any type of injury and quickly found his parents.
