In the first week of September, 178 cases of dengue fever were reported in Iran.
This is reported by the Telegram channel “Azad Iran”.
Shahnam Arshi, director of the Center for Combating Infectious Diseases at Iran’s Health Ministry, said those infected with the disease live in only one part of the country.
According to him, many of the people diagnosed had travelled abroad. Arshi said that so far one person has died of fever.
