At the same time, in the early morning, the disappearance of a woman was reported in the town of Tiana, so the investigation unit of the Mossos d’Esquadra tried to determine if the body that appeared lifeless on the beach of Cristall corresponded to that.
Finally, it was possible to identify the person found dead on the beach of Badalona, a 42-year-old woman, victim of this storm.
In the last few hours, due to the rains, the emergency number 112 has received a total of 407 calls regarding 279 incidents caused by the heavy rainstorm that hit the Barcelona and Tarragona regions last night.
The majority of calls came from Vallès Occidental (109), Vallès Oriental (63) and Tarragonès (44). 112 responded to 31 calls from the city of Tarragona and 31 others from Sabadell.
