An 86-year-old man has been evacuated in critical condition after being involved in a road accident in a classic buggy type vehicle on the A-2, near Torrejón de Ardoz, shortly before noon, reported the Madrid Community Emergency 112.
Apparently, there was a collision between two vehicles at kilometer 23 of the aforementioned highway. The firefighters of the Community of Madrid had to rescue the victim from inside the conventional vehicle, who was intubated and transferred to the 12 de Octubre Hospital by a Summa 112 helicopter. A firefighter spokesperson explains that the victim’s rescue was carried out. It was complex because of the type of vehicle he was stuck in.
The injured man suffered severe chest, abdominal and pelvic trauma and was in critical condition. Now, The Civil Guard is investigating the accident.
