García-Gallardo walks Las Delicias to denounce “the unique problems linked to mass migration”

“Singular problems linked to mass migrations” in working-class neighborhoods where “bipartisanship brings insecurity and crime”. This is the complaint of Vox spokesperson to the Cortes de Castilla y León, Juan García-Gallardo, who spoke in these terms from the premises of the Barrio Delicias Neighborhood Association (AVBD). According to him, this neighborhood of Valladolid “has always been full of good, hardworking and honest people” but “since the phenomena of uncontrolled immigration are present in the neighborhood, with a particular type of immigration that does not come at all from desire to integrate: “It makes headlines because of the frequent cases of violence.”

García-Gallardo chose this Thursday morning, after visiting the association’s premises – filled with boxes waiting to be sent to the victims of DANA in Valencia – to walk a few streets in the company of its president, Luis Trapote, who told him recounted specific episodes and concerns of certain neighbors with whom he is in contact.

However, when questioned by journalists, the Vox spokesperson was unable to provide data on an increase in crime in this specific part of the city, since he admitted that “there is no has no public data by district”, even if he does not have his defense that these are not isolated cases, for which he resorted to a correlation between the percentage of the foreign population and the number of prisoners from other countries in Spain, to whom he defended that “the statistics are not racist”.

“We came to meet the president of the association following the events that we have learned about in recent months, linked to coexistence and security,” he explained, citing in particular riots and squats. In this sense, he insisted on asking that “a return ticket be given to those who arrive illegally at our borders”, because he considers that they can “end up ruining the economy, public services and, incidentally, our demographics and our identity. “

The institutional return to school took place discreetly between passing neighbors, between shopping and procedures in the middle of the morning and a few glances of curiosity or surprise towards the group and the cameras. A woman, after recognizing García-Gallardo in the Old Market Square, discusses it with an acquaintance a few meters away. “It’s a good thing that politicians are taking a look at it. Listen, my brother, who has cerebral palsy, could use some niches and borders repaired…”
