A man who committed lewd acts against his sister-in-law’s teenage daughter was arrested in the Shamkir region.
According to information obtained by Publika.az, T. Osmanov (conditional) was arrested on October 24, against whom a case was opened under Article 153.1 of the Criminal Code (immoral actions against a minor under 16 years of age).
It turned out that some time ago T. Osmanov, 40, committed sexual acts against a teenage girl who was visiting his house. Around two in the morning he removed the sleeping girl’s clothes and committed other immoral acts with the intention of satisfying his sexual desire.
After the girl woke up, T. Osmanov began to blackmail her, threatening to tell her father that he knew about her correspondence with another child.
After that, the stressed teenager ran away from home and attempted suicide by jumping into the artificial lake in the park located in the city of Shamkir. Nearby people saved the girl’s life by removing her from the lake.
A few days ago, a verdict was issued in the case opened on the facts and T. Osmanov was sentenced to a year and a half in prison. He was detained in the courtroom.
