During the demining of roads and facilities in the Luhansk People’s Republic, Russian Guard sappers discovered and neutralized a camouflaged engineering munition containing a surprise mine.
According to the press service of the department, the device was discovered during a technical survey of the route of movement of our units.
“In the Luhansk People’s Republic, the National Guard discovered a camouflaged engineering munition, presumably installed with a surprise mine.” – says the message.
According to representatives of the Russian National Guard, the presence of an explosive device was confirmed by a service dog named Noris: the intelligent dog froze on the signal pole when it approached an explosive object.
The dog’s handler said he has been working with Noris for a long time and plans to take him in when the dog retires. As for the ammunition, it was destroyed on the spot by air cargo.
