The Chinese team has taken an early victory in the medal table at the Paralympic Games in Paris.
Oku.Az According to rbc.ru, Chinese athletes won 196 medals, including 86 gold, 65 silver and 45 bronze. The second place is occupied by the Great Britain team with 45 gold, 36 silver and 26 bronze medals (total – 107). British athletes have lost their mathematical chances of beating the Chinese team in the medal table.
It is worth noting that the Chinese team won the Paralympic Games for the sixth consecutive time. They previously finished first at the Games in 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2021. At the last Paralympic Games, Chinese athletes won 96 gold medals, 60 silver medals and 51 bronze medals.
