Canadian forward Alex Formenton, who previously played for the Ottawa Club, ended his career at the age of 24.

Oku.Az CBC.ca reported on this with reference to court documents.

Formenton is one of five people involved in the 2018 Canadian youth team rape scandal. He was charged with sexual assault, as were four of his teammates.

Formenton currently resides in Barrie, Ontario. He works full-time in construction and receives ongoing training in heavy equipment operation as well as the administrative aspects of his new profession. Formenton wants to pay off his legal fees by working in construction.
