RTVE’s Objectif Egalité program, led by Carolina Pecharromán and Paola Guerra, was awarded in the Diffusion of Equality Linked to Rural Development category. This space has been broadcast since the beginning of 2021 on Canal 24 Horas, La 2 and RTVE Play, seeking to dismantle sexist stereotypes and give visibility to women to help bridge the multiple gaps that separate women and men in different areas. of life. and fight against gender-based violence.
Farmer Kimie Hirai, originally from Bolivia and residing in Valdepeñas, was recognized in the Rural Women Entrepreneurs category. Dedicated to the cultivation of olive and almond trees, Kimie represents the new generation of rural women who combine their work in the field with administration and management.
