A new type of fraud has recently been reported.
Oku.Az reports that citizens are called by phone and asked to “select button 1 if they are vaccinated.”
The phone supposedly locks immediately.
Head of the Press Service of the Ministry of the Interior (MIA) on the topic Nurlan Aliyev Oku.Az-In response to the query, he said that this is a false notification and has no administrative basis:
“In general, this is not the case, the police have not received any information. We recommend that these types of fake notifications be blocked without reading them.”
