The Supreme Court, beneficiary of the amnesty law

Despite the fact that the Second Chamber of the Supreme Court (TS) has done everything possible and even more, since it has done so, through the order in which it refused the application of said law to those convicted by the sentence of the trial, an allegedly procrastinating interpretation of the amnesty law, the members of said Chamber will be the first beneficiaries of the approval of said norm.

The sentence handed down by the Second Chamber of the TS in November 2019, which convicted several former government ministers and the presidents of the National Assembly of Catalonia and Òmnium Cultural for the crimes of sedition and embezzlement, was appealed and admitted for processing by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).
