Specifically, according to information from the National Meteorological Agency (Aemet) consulted by Europa Press, between 03:00 and 05:00, the yellow alert will be activated throughout the archipelago due to the precipitation that could be up to 20 litres per square metre in one hour in the Pitiusas and between 25 and 30 litres in Mallorca and Menorca.
In Ibiza and Formentera the alert will be deactivated at 11:59 while in Mallorca the alert will last until 14:59.
Instability will continue in Menorca, which will remain under yellow alert due to storms and coastal phenomena with waves of two to three meters on Sunday and Monday.
Maximum temperatures will drop on the Mediterranean side and sharply in the Balearic Islands this Sunday.
