Well-known writer and journalist Hidayat Elvusal has passed away.

H. Elvusal was reported to have died at the age of 75.
Born on June 25, 1949 in Kalbajar. He worked in several press agencies. In addition to working in the regional newspaper “Yenilik” published in Kalbajar, in the editorial office of local radio programs, he collaborated with the Azerbaijan State Radio. Later he worked in the newspapers “Youth of Azerbaijan” and “Communist” (now “Xalq newspaper”). He was one of the founders of the newspaper “Sahar”, deputy editor-in-chief, editor-in-chief of the newspapers “Bela-bela ishar” and “Kriminal”. He appeared in the periodical press with his essays, interviews and reports, stories and narratives.
H. Elvusal was also known as a songwriter and amateur composer.
